Thanks to everyone who attended our Model Search event on Sunday! We had over 100 people attend and appreciated the positive feedback we got from numerous attendees! Thanks also to our wonderful sponsors for supporting us in this event.
We will be choosing winning models next week and will be notifying them shortly after. Please check back here over the next couple months as we post images from the winners' photo shoots! Also, we will have a mini-video-montage of the event up soon. (Shown here: Shannon, Model Integrity Founder (on right), with Model Integrity Intern, Autumn, at the event on Sunday).
So if you wern't able to make it to the event, what now?!?! Don't worry!!! This event was just the beginning for Model Integrity! Our intention is to offer exciting, affordable, and up front ways for aspiring models to get the info they need to pursue modeling. This means that in addition to the Model Search (that we plan to do again next year!) we will be offering workshops and various other opportunities to models in between.
We do have two post-event "MODEL INTENSIVE MINI WORKSHOPS" available right now (and hope to make it a monthly opportunity - more on that coming later). If you are interested in learning more about how to pursue the modeling industry with the perspective of an insider, consider one of these two upcoming dates: WED, MAY 7th 10:30am (in Roseville) -or- THURS MAY 8th 6:30pm (in Minneapolis). You must PRE-REGISTER by emailing us at modelintegrity@juno.com or calling 651.489.8281.
The cost of these workshops is just $49 and covers the time, expenses, & materials (everyone leaves with a binder filled with info and resources). Each workshop also includes a FREE MODEL BAG (to carry your portfolio, etc, to and from auditions and jobs).
This WORKSHOP COVERS:
-what you do & don't need to become a model
-recognizing scams & identifying legitmate resources
-a list of established modeling agencies in the Twin Cities
-how to make the best submission possible to a legit agency
-understanding model materials - photos, comp cards, portfolios, web, etc.,
-insider info on attending auditions & bookings
-understanding expenses & taxes as a model
-posing & runway basic training
-PLUS, every model gets one-on-one time at the end to answer questions, evaluate any materials you may have now, and help you identify what type(s) of modeling you may be suited for and how to best market this to get you noticed by agencies and clients.
This is literally ten years worth of experience complied into one honest & sincere workshop meant to give you a head start, help you avoid costly mistakes, and give you (or your child) the best shot possible at entering the world of modeling. We have never had a single participant leave without finding it exceptionally beneficial, and we hope you take some time to read some of their comments at the Model Integrity website under "Press & Testimonials."
We hope you'll consider attending one of these workshops if you're excited about the idea of modeling but either not sure where to start, or have pursued other opportunities that turned out to be expensive yet disappointing. Please email us at modelintegrity@juno.com for more info or to register.
Keep tabs on the website & blog, as we will have new, exciting things to come!
